The facilities and services available at Oceanlab include pressure testing for instrumented and non instrumented proving up to 7000m at deep oceanic temperatures, down to 2 deg.C in a 790 litres capacity pressure vessel. Vibration table for terrestrial or subsea housings and electrical circuitry. DC to 240 Hz with 490 m.s-2 peak accelerations. Environmental chamber testings of temperatures from -40 to +180 deg.C and humidity of up to 98%. Remotely operated vehicles and automated underwater vehicles testing tanks for hire. Fully powered trials and corporate demonstrations by arrangement. Lander design, commissioning and full project work undertaken. Joint grant applications and collaborative projects with SMEs and large companies welcomed.
