Generic A&E resource planning model
There are currently no generic A&E simulation models. Currently, hospitals recruit simulation consultants to create a model for their individual hospital – which is both expensive and time consuming. To use the individual model, the hospital needs someone who is an expert in computer simulation modelling, either by hiring a expert or by paying the consultant to provide this service. The Generic model can be used by a non-simulation expert, is more flexible and is cheaper.
